Once upon a time, in the land of love, there lived a mischievous little fellow named Cupid. Cupid was known for his sharp aim and his ability to make anyone fall in love with the person of their dreams. But, one day, Cupid decided to play a game of target practice with his trusty bow and arrow. He aimed at a nearby tree and let the arrow fly.

However, something went wrong and the arrow took a sharp turn, heading straight for Cupid! Before he knew it, the arrow hit him right in the heart. Cupid let out a loud cry and fell to the ground.

As he lay there, feeling the effects of the arrow, he began to feel a strange sensation in his heart. It was a feeling he had never felt before. He realized that he had fallen in love!

Cupid got up and looked around, trying to figure out who he had fallen in love with. That’s when he saw her, the most beautiful fairy he had ever laid eyes on. She had long, flowing hair and sparkly wings. Cupid knew right away that she was the one.

He walked up to her and stuttered, “H-hi, my name is Cupid. W-what’s yours?”

The fairy looked at him with a confused expression and replied, “My name is Daphne. Why do you look so flustered?”

Cupid couldn’t help but blush as he explained what had happened. Daphne couldn’t help but laugh at the silly Cupid, who had been hit by his own arrow.

Daphne said, “Well, Cupid. It looks like you’re in luck. I happen to have a spare arrow here. Why don’t you shoot me and see if I feel the same way?”

Cupid’s heart skipped a beat as he aimed his bow and arrow at Daphne. He let the arrow fly, and it hit Daphne right in the heart.

Daphne’s eyes widened as she felt the effects of the arrow. She looked at Cupid with a smile and said, “Looks like we’re both in love now!”

Cupid was overjoyed and he knew that Daphne was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. They flew off into the sunset, laughing and holding hands.

From that day on, Cupid and Daphne were known as the most loving couple in the land of love. And they lived happily ever after.
