Summary

The story follows Tendai Turtle, who lives in the water, and his best friend Bunny Busi, who resides in a tree. When Granny Turtle injures her shell, Tendai's mother and father leave to help her, and Tendai is invited to stay with Busi. During Tendai’s stay, he and Busi enjoy playing all day and sleeping all night, fostering their friendship. Eventually, Tendai's parents return with Granny, whose shell has been repaired. “We fixed her shell,” answers Mum.

Granny gives Tendai her favourite flute.

Tendai plays the flute and everybody dances.
